And healthcare doesn’t leverage the full potential. My mission is to serve as a catalyst for the application of innovative technology driven health care management.

Completed apprenticeship as occupational therapist at the state-approved school for occupational therapy of the German Red Cross Düsseldorf, Germany and completed study of applied psychology at the APOLLON University of Applied Science for health economy in Bremen.
My experience in the medical field is based on my work in neurorehab in several years. 2012 I changed first into the field of health cares suppliers and 2013 in the medtech industry. Cross-functional-team projects in business development, marketing, sales and product management are my core tasks.
In this "hands on" function I am involved in many relevant business activities. Starting with the sales & marketing strategy, customer relation management, network expansion, strategic decisioning in business development and contract drafting. Also I deal with the vision and mission of docbox and the further development of the brand's core.
With the Seat Assistant therapists and care givers easily mobilize patients confined to bed. The Seat Assistant is a startup project accelerated at the MedTech Startup School in 2017. Within the scope of this mandate, I am responsible in a supporting role for business development and commercialization of the product, at the side of Tobias Giebler, the inventor and founder of the Seat Assistant.
The aim of the ReMoS-Mining project, which began in the middle of 2018, was to process the existing german DGNR Guideline for Mobility after Stroke (ReMoS), in order to make the knowledge contained in it accessible to a wider public in condensed form. The result: a dynamic web application that gives healthcare professionals smart open access to the guideline recommendations.
"It's your baby", THERA-Trainer's CEO, Peter Kopf often said. To complement the product sales I published a therapy magazine for THERA-Trainer. This should, among other things, provide customers and interested parties with current market and industry relevant knowledge. The contents of THERAPY were varied: Besides specialist articles in a scientific-journalistic style, there were reports, interviews and industry news on the subject of "device-supported therapy". As Director & Editor-in-Chief, I was mainly responsible for the content design within the scope of the in-house marketing.
As THERA-Trainer's Head of Product Management I led the Product Management team with a focus on enhancing the definition and growth of the products in international markets. In close collaboration to the management I accompanied the whole product development process and market launch and was responsible for the management of the product’s roadmap based on the adopted strategies and vision of the company. My role was inherently cross-functional and the position required closely work with the engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other departments such as quality and risk management.
As a key account manager, I spent about 1.5 years building up the nationwide sales network with clinics and hospital chains. My core tasks included strategic sales and negotiations with central purchasing departments and cooperatives.
On behalf of medica Medizintechnik GmbH, as a specialist for clinical applications and product manager at the intersection of marketing, sales, and research, I was considerably involved in the development of the company's evidence- and robotics-based therapy concepts.
As Area Sales Manager, I was responsible for sales of the entire THERA-Trainer product range in the German area (Bavaria).
In 2012, I switched to the medical supply industry and some time later to medical technology.
My clinical expertise is based on my previous work as a therapist in the field of neurological and neurosurgical early rehabilitation.
Jakob was a very valuable collegue because of his deep knowledge about latest evidence, studies and best-practice in rehabilitation but also because of his fair and cooperative acting with collegues and clients. His expertise was a valuable source for our internal development department as well. He also supported our sales team in trainings and dissertations all over the world.
